I have two small areas of zinnias.
The first have turned out tall, big and bright.
My husband likes these.
I think we got the seeds free from the library.
The others are green.
My husband dislikes them and I love them.
We got the seeds from Baker Seed Co of Mansfield, MO.
Zinnias are my favorite flower to plant. I love them. I like the green ones too.
ReplyDeletei planted a huge patch of zinnias for about 5 years in a row for an elderly friend. she had the WORST soil, and i secretly hated the zinnias. she is in an assisted living home now, and I actually decided to plant a few in her honor, and take pics of them for her. they are growing on me.
DeleteI do love a zinnia. So simple and vibrant. I've grown lots of varieties, my favorite being the Green Envy, pictured. We, too, have ordered from Baker. Great company to do business with.
ReplyDeletewe actually purchased the seed at the mansfield location. if you have a chance, you should visit there -- like a vintage village.
