Fall is officially over, and winter is here.
Just yesterday we bought 10 coral bell plants on
clearance (for $1 each!) and got them planted.
But today is a different day altogether.
Fortunately, most of the leaves fell a few days ago after
a hard frost.
It is very pretty,
but I am trying to avoid thinking about four months of winter.
The spider web is beautiful! I have a little garden spider in our front bushes by the porch. I've named her Cindy. She, too, is quite an artist!

I am wondering what my little spider friends do in the winter, since i haven't seen them since it snowed. I spent my youth in nebraska and indiana, so i've seen enough snow to last me a lifetime.

I hear you. I hate it when i have to get out on the roads with it. and they have a lot of ice around here, which i am not looking forward to either. it makes us appreciate spring more.
