The site of my compost area used to have a farm building.
One with a poured concrete floor, maybe from about 1933 --
when the current house was built.
When we flipped over the chunks of cement we found cool old
bits of bottles embedded. It must have been a dumping site
before the concrete was poured.
We have a place on our property where all kinds of stuff comes up out of the ground.
