Building A Guest Cottage

There may not have been much going on here on the blog
this past month, but plenty of plans were being made.
This is an area of our property that we call "the meadow".
And sometime in the last few weeks we started picturing
a little guest house growing up in the meadow.

Here is my husband cutting down some of the little
trees that were living in the same space that the little house
will be taking up.  (Notice the shorts?  I took this pic Dec 24!)
Primarily it will be an AirBNB.
Also available if my son from Cali comes home.
Available to any missionaries.
And hosting a family reunion next May.

This is our contractor Shawn (also wearing shorts!) who says
he hopes to be finished by the end of February!
My New Year's vow is to document the progress on the blog.
We will be trying to save money by repurposing, reusing and
burning up Facebook Marketplace.
