Quaker Lace Tablelocth

I bought this vintage Quaker Tablecloth when
I went to the city-wide a couple of weeks ago.
It had some yellowing from folds, which washed right out.

Quaker Lace tablecloths sell very well if they are in great condition,
and a good size.

Quaker Lace Company’s biggest item was the lace curtain, but it was apparent to the company that times were changing and tastes were shifting, so they began exploring other products. Quaker Lace made mosquito netting for the military during the WWI, and then came upon their best known post-war product: their tablecloth, first produced in 1932.
They produced a dizzying array of patterns and  sizes.

The middle class could afford it,
and it is very durable.
For these reasons, there are still many to be found.
This one is going on ebay this weekend.
Paid $5, sold for $25.
